Ibrahim Hussein Museum, Langkawi

Ibrahim Hussein Museum & Cultural Foundation (GPS: 6.43024, 99.72782) is an art museum in Langkawi, Kedah. It was founded by the late Ibrahim Hussein (1987-1999), one of the most imminent artists specializing in modern art in Malaysia. The museum is located at Pasir Tengkorak, on the northern part of the island.

Ibrahim Hussein was born in 1936 in Sungai Limau, Yan, Kedah. He was educated at the Nanyang Academy of Art in Singapore, followed by the Byam Shaw School of Drawing & Painting in London, and the Royal Academy School London.

The Ibrahim Hussein Museum and Cultural Foundation was first opened to the public in 1998. It features exhibits of various arts, especially modern art.
