is a small town to the southeast of Kota Bharu
in Kelantan. It is also the administrative capital of Pasir Puteh District
. The town is located along Sungai Semerak, which empties into the South China Sea at Pantai Bisikan Bayu.
Federal Route 3 passes through Pasir Puteh to Kota Bharu, where it is broken by Route 134 at Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra, and continues south again at the junction with Jalan Kota Bharu-Pengkalan Kubor, to end at Rantau Panjang
