Miri Crocodile Farm (GPS: 4.57109, 113.97685) is in Kuala Baram, about 22 km north from Miri, Sarawak. It is located near the estuary of the Baram River.

There are a thousand crocodiles at the farm, which covers an area of 22 acres. They belong to two species, the estuarine crocodile, (Crocodylus porosus), and the Malayan Gharial (Tomistoma schlegelii). The crocodiles are kept in natural breeding enclosures and man-made ponds. Visitors can safely walk around the perimeter of these ponds and enclosures.

The Miri Crocodile Farm is open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm daily. Visitors can view crocodile feeding on Sundays and public holidays at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm.

In addition to the crocodiles, the farm also has a mini zoo where you can view a variety of exotic creatures including the sun bear, gibbon, cassoway and python.

Getting there

Take the coastal Miri-Kuala Baram Road from Miri. The crocodile farm is 20 minutes from the city.

About this website

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
