Restoran Sate Kajang Hj SamuriRestoran Sate Kajang Hj Samuri (11 July, 2016)

Restoran Sate Kajang Hj Samuri (GPS: 2.99352, 101.78704) is possibly the largest satay restaurant in the country. It is located on Jalan Hishammudin, next to Kajang Stadium, just within walking distance of the Stadium Kajang MRT Station.

I decided to make a stop here to enjoy the satay when my wife and I were traveling from Negeri Sembilan to Kuala Lumpur. We arrived at around 12:30pm on Monday, 11 July, 2016. The restoran is a huge 3-storey building that looks like a stadium. The front portion has two stylised steel towers with a porch. The inside is huge, with tables as far as our eyes could see.

Ordering at Restoran Sate Kajang Hj Samuri is at the counter. There is various types of satay here, including chicken, beef, mutton, rabbit and venison. There are other stuff like beef tripe, chicken liver, even fish satay. Also available is ketupat and nasi impit.

Satay is of course not the only item available. There is also various rice and noodle meals which can be ordered à la carte, among them Chicken Rice, Chicken Fried Rice, Hot Chili Fried Rice, Pattaya Fried Rice, Chinese Fried Rice, Padprik Fried Rice, Village-Style Fried Rice, Special Kajang Mee Bandung and Fried Mee, Bihun and Koay Teow.

We ordered the Chicken Rice, the Special Kajang Mee Bandung and the satay. Take a look at the food below. In my opinion, everything was so delicious. We enjoyed our lunch at Restoran Sate Kajang Hj Samuri, and I would look forward to returning here in future.
