Bukit Timah Expressway, Singapore
Bukit Timah Expressway (
BKE) is a motorway running through the central part of Singapore from north to south. With a length of just 10 km (6.2 mi), it was the shortest expressway at the time of completion in 1986. The
Kranji Expressway that was built later is now the shortest in Singapore.
The Bukit Timah Expressway starts at the interchange with the
Pan Island Expressway (PIE) in
Bukit Timah, and runs north to end at the
Woodlands Checkpoint, providing connection with the
Johor-Singapore Causeway.
The exits from this expressways are numbered, with the exit numbers increasing from south to north. These numbers correspond roughly to the distance travelled in kilometers. The following is the information on the exits on the BKE, from south to north, beginning from its start at the Pan Island Expressway.
