, a province in the Central Region of Thailand. The province covers 2,470 sq km (954 sq mi) and has a population of 333,000 people (2012 estimate). It ranks 64th in terms of size and 26th in terms of population.Chai Nat Province is the site of Thailand's largest irrigation system. This is because the province and surrounding region is the rice bowl of Thailand requiring controlled supply of water the whole year round. The Chao Phraya Dam, completed in 1957, is the first dam built in Thailand.
Chai Nat Province is bordered by Nakhon Sawan Province to the north, Singburi Province to the east, Suphanburi Province to the south and Uthaithani Province to the west.
The provincial capital of Chai Nat Province is Chai Nat Town. The province is divided into eight district including Chai Nat Town (Mueang Chainat), Manorom, Wat Sing, Sapphaya, Sankhaburi, Hankha, Nong Mamong and Noen Kham.

- Chai Nat Bird Garden
Said to be the biggest bird park in Asia, this is the main tourist attraction of Chai Nat Province. - Chainatmunee National Museum
The two-storey museum building is in the neighbourhood of Wat Phrabharom Thatviharn. It has a disparate collection of artifacts ranging from prehistoric tools to ornaments and Buddha images from different periods. - Chao Phraya Dam
The first large dam to be built in Thailand. - Wat Phra Mahathat
Temple with its noted sphire, or prang, which is fluted like the starfruit. - Wat Thammamulviharn
This is the main Buddhist temple in Chainat during the Ayutthaya period. It sits on a slope overlooking the Chao Phraya River.
