Khor Fakkan (Arabic: خورفكان) is a town within the Emirate of Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates. It faces the Gulf of Oman, and though belonging to Sharjah, is surrounded by the Emirate of Fujairah.

According to historians, Khor Fakkan may have been mentioned as early as 1580 by Venetian jeweler Gasparo Balbi, though it was called Chorf at that time. Later the Portuguese built a fort in that location. By 1666, the fort was in ruins, probably due to an invasion staged by the Omani Sheikh Muhammad Suhari in 1623. According to German traveler Carsten Niebuhr, Khor Fakkan was already belonging to the Sharjah ruling family by 1765.

Today Khor Fakkan attracts mainly domestic tourists with its pleasant climate. The best time to visit are the winter months, when the outdoor temperature is more bearable.
