Wildhaus is a village in the constituent of Toggenburg in St Gallen canton, Switzerland. It covers 34.43 sq km (13.29 sq mi) and has a population of 1,200 people (2011 estimate). The village is between Gam in the Rhine valley and Unterwasser in the Toggenburg valley. Looming in the vicinity are the peaks of Churfirsten and Säntis.

Wildhaus is 1,095 m (3,593 ft) above sea level. It is one of the highest villages in the Toggenburg area. German is the most common language spoken here (91.8%). 11% of the people here are foreign nationals, so the main foreign languages heard include Albanian and Serbo-Croatian.

Members of the Swiss Reformed Church accounts of 45.4% of Wildhaus, while those attending the Roman Catholic Church compose 37.1% of the village population. Wildhaus is the birthplace of Swiss Reformer Huldrych Zwingli (1484-1531). The house where he was born is today listed as a Swiss heritage site of national significance.
