Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve is a huge national park located in southeastern Alaska. Covering an area of 13,175,901 acres (53,321 sq km) it is the biggest national park in the United States. The park is biggest than nine US states, with a size comparable to Nova Scotia in Canada.

Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve is located on the US-Canada border. Across the border is the Kluane National Park and Reserve. It is also contiguous with Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve. Together, the three national parks were jointly inscribed as a World Heritage Site called Kluane-Wrangell-St. Elias-Glacier Bay-Tatshenshini-Alsek.

Visiting Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve, Alaska

Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve can be reached by road from Anchorage. Alaska Highway 4 (Richardson Highway) is the route to take. It connects to Anchorage via Alaska Highway 1 (Glenn Highway). Traveling by road means going through unpaved gravel roads. You can also fly to Glennallen or McCarthy on air taxis. About this website

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
