Ste-Croix is a village in Jura-Nord Vaudois district, Vaud canton, Switzerland. Often called the Balcony of the Jura, the village commands an expansive panorama of the Alps, along with the Swiss Upland and Jura mountains. It covers 39.42 sq km (15.22 sq mi) and has a population of about 4,500 people (2011 estimate).

Today the village of Ste-Croix is listed in the Inventory of Swiss Heritage Sites. It is regarded as the capital of music boxes. The tradition of manufacturing music box is today celebrated with a museum devoted to the craft.

The people of Ste-Croix is predominantly French-speaking (90.3%) while German is only spoken by 2.2% of the population while Italian by 2.1%. Over half the population (52.5%) belong to the Swiss Reformed Church while 21.2% attend the Roman Catholic church.
