Buri Ram Province จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ is a province in the Northeastern Region of Thailand. It covers 10,322 sq km (3986 sq mi), making it the 17th largest province in the kingdom. With a population of 1.6 million people, it is the 5th most populous of the provinces. The provincial capital is also called Buri Ram.
Phanom Rung Historical Park This historical park preserves Angkorian ruins from the time the area was part of the Khmer Empire.

Phrachao Yai Wat Hong Homage-paying Fair 14th day of the waxing moon to the 1st day of the waning moon in the 3rd lunar month: A festival for pilgrims to pay homage to the Buddha. This is carried out by applying gold leaf to the Phrachao Yai, a highly revered Buddha image in Amphoe Phutthaisong.
