Return to Tim's Homepage Can I Be A Closet Christian?

It is one of your duties as a Christian, as expressed in Mark 16:15 (Go into all the world and share the good news to all creation), that you spread the message to all non believers, wherever they may be.

You can carry out this duty without being fanatical over it. Those who are overzealous give Christianity a bad name. Your mission is to spread the Good News. It is up to the listener whether or not to accept the Gospel.

Accept the fact that in the end, it is God that will open the eyes of some and keep the eyes of others firmly shut. Remember that as you God's duty, God will do His as well. To be a closet Christian means to keep your religion secret. Unless revealing it will harm yourself or someone else, you should not be embarrassed that you are a Christian.

How to share the good news

If you find it difficult to share to your friends or colleagues in words or speech, send them the Gospel According to Tim. It is my way non-confrontational way of telling the Gospel, to make it easier for non believers to have the opportunity to hear it.
